I got curious about the different wing configurations of the aeroplanes and recreated them using balsa wood kits. This was a very interesting way for me to learn why a few wing configurations are more fast, stable or nimble than the others
A documentary that I saw online made me motivated to see why not operate rockets using compressed air (a rather clean alternative) over chemicals. This made me to test air launched rockets against vinegar-baking soda rockets to see the specific impulse, max altitude and other interesting metrics in an attempt to answer my unanswered questions
This solar cell operated rover gave me a fresh perspective about the operation of several different systems working together to create a synchronous operational machine
I built a tower made of Lego and I used a ruler to measure the shadow. I wrote the length of the shadow and the time, which was a cool way to learn the math of Pythagoras theorem and how people just by using shadows built huge structures!
This was a great hands on way for me to understand the operational mechanics of V8 engines and I consider myself more of a fledgling dork now!
COMING SOON!!!
